Trust me, I have not started posting here and then forgotten all about it. There are works in progress that I will be posting as soon as they are complete.
This year I designed my own Holiday cards. All they need is a little color. I am not sure why I continue to procrastinate. I think I was vacillating between have black and white copies made or color copies made. Guess with it being November already, that decision might be made. Perhaps today will be the day. It all depends on where the creative juices lead me.
The other project I have going on is a 16" x 20" Celtic Cross. This is something of the quintessential piece of knotwork. I am never sure where my inspiration comes from and will freely admit that most of the time I sit down to draw a knot and I never know what I will ed up with. This Celtic Cross was a bit different. After all the years I have been drawing knots, I have never done any kind of traditional cross I felt the need. Not as a completion of any kind of portfolio but as a completion of myself as a creator of knots. I am hoping that this piece will be completed before Thanksgiving but for sure before Christmas.
No matter when these projects are finished, they will be posted here as soon as they are.
Love drawing Celtic Knots, working the lines and designs seems to lead from one knot to another. The shadows you see on the pictures are from the scans which didn't come out as well as I would have liked them to. Enjoy looking and if there are any that strike your fancy, email me from my profile or leave a comment on that piece and we will see what we can work out.

Not sure where I find the time, just know that I find it so relaxing and a great way to unwind.
